Sunday Worship Service- "The Call to Genuine Conviction takes Embracing Change Through God's Word"

Jul 27, 2025    Sr. Pastor Travis M. Tullis

Isaiah 55:7-8 says, "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord."

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis reminds us that "The Call to Genuine Conviction takes Embracing Change Through God's Word." The focus scriptures are Isaiah 55:7-8, John 16:7-8, and John 2:23-24.

When we truly believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, our response should be to turn away from our old ways, learn from His teachings, and follow Him with a sincere heart. This commitment leads to genuine faith, which compels us to embrace real change and spiritual transformation. Jesus must be the source of our motivation and the inspiration behind everything we do in life. As John 7:8 states: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he comes, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment." Choosing to live according to God’s Word and to be transformed by conviction is a deeply personal decision—one that carries spiritual, moral, and even cultural implications.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together, and reminding us that we must be genuinely convicted by God's Word to experience a true relationship with Jesus.
